MEMBER ALERT

UFLAC has become aware that the City has failed to timely pay several UFLAC bargaining unit members amounts owed relevant to promotions, pay grade/step advancement, bonuses and/or premium pay.  UFLAC is researching the City’s liability and the extent to which its failure to timely adjust members’ compensation is unlawful.  As part of our investigation, UFLAC would like to identify all bargaining unit members who may be affected by the City’s delay.

If the City owes you back wages and has acknowledged this fact, please send UFLAC Director Richard Ramirez the following information:

•    Your name and rank
•    Your assignment
•    The reason the City owes you back pay
•    The date the back pay was first due
•    Proof that the City acknowledges its duty to pay the amount at issue
