0800 Special Meeting – Council District 6 Expenditure up to $250,000
On April 4, 2023 there will be a Special Election in LA City Council District 6, which includes the communities of San Valley, Van Nuys, Panorama City and Arleta, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Nury Martinez. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, there will be a runoff election on June 27, 2023. This funding of up to $250,000 would be used to support the UFLAC endorsed candidate in an independent expenditure.
