Important Holiday Safety Message for all UFLAC Members
UFLAC WISHES ALL MEMBERS A SAFE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON & ENCOURAGES ALL MEMBERS TO UPDATE YOUR LIVING TRUST AND YOUR BENEFICIARIES
The safety of our members – both on and off duty – is always a top priority for the UFLAC Executive Board. That’s why, once again this year we are offering full reimbursements for a safe ride home (or a place you are staying) while using any licensed transportation service (Taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc.).
Each year we come across an issue where one of our members finds themselves in a bad situation during the holiday season. That’s why we are offering this service as we remind all of our members to be safe and don’t jeopardize yourself or others while driving impaired.
With the holiday season here, UFLAC is offering this one time reimbursement for all members in good standing from December 21, 2018 through January 2, 2019. UFLAC will reimburse up to $50 for safe rides. To get this reimbursement, please send an email along with your receipt to dalbarran@uflac.org.
Members can choose to use a taxi or a ride sharing service such as LYFT (iOS – Andriod) or UBER (iOS – Android). UFLAC is not affiliated with any ride sharing or taxi services and is not liable for the service provided.
Finally, as we close out the year, now is also the time to be sure that your Living Trust and Beneficiaries are updated. In order to do this, please contact Marilyn Alvarado at malvarado@uflac.org.
